Directions to the Domaine de Gavaudun in the Dordogne-Lot
The Domaine de Gavaudun in Aquitaine is in the heart of the picturesque Gavaudun Valley (classified site), 7 km from Fumel, 55 km from Agen, 50 km from Bergerac and 55 km from Cahors.
The TGV from Paris, Bordeaux and Toulouse stops at Agen, where you can take a train for Monsempron-Libos (Fumel). Train reservation : SNCF or Trainline.
Bordeaux and Toulouse airports are 150 km away and there are two regional airports at Bergerac and Agen at your disposal.

It will then be necessary to rent a car to visit the area.
With a car, coming from Paris, we advise you to take the A20 through Limoges. Do not follow your SatNav and continue towards Cahors (longer but faster and more comfortable). At the roundabout at the entrance of Cahors, take a right towards Bergerac and then always follow directions to Fumel. You can then use your SatNav or the map below.
At Souillac, you can also choose to follow the Dordogne river and go through Belvès, Monpazier and Lacapelle-Biron : the roads are very nice but more tortuous and there may be many cars in high season.
Coming from the South, we advise you to leave the A62 Bordeaux-Toulouse motorway either at Moissac, coming from Toulouse, and follow the direction Fumel, either at Aiguillon, coming from Bordeaux, and go through Villeneuve sur Lot.
The Domaine de Gavaudun and/or the Auberge de Vezou are indicated from Gavaudun and other villages nearby.
