The Domaine de Gavaudun ★★★★ cottages holiday resort in Dordogne-Lot
At the border of the regions Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrenees, the Domaine de Gavaudun is perfectly situated in the south of historic Perigord, the region of a thousand Châteaux, near Quercy, Gascony and Guyenne, at the crossroad of three departments : Lot et Garonne, Dordogne and Lot.
Delightfully peaceful, it is built like a small cottages village in the middle of woods and meadows.
The villas, of traditional Périgord-style construction, each have two vacation rental units, with sleeping capacity between 4 and 8 people depending on the model. A few detached houses are also available. These accommodations offer you all the modern day comfort you need to spend a pleasant holiday.
Some of them are specifically adapted for people with reduced mobility.
The original farm buildings dating from the 18th century, constructed from Perigord Noir ochre stone, have been tastefully restored. They include the restaurant, bar and rest area, front office, spa and a few charming cottages (for 2 to 20 people).
The “centre of life” is arranged around a superb barn (bar-common area) and a large heated swimming pool, allowing you to relax and leave the children to run and play around.
Beautiful walks are marked through woods and meadows, with frolicking horses and ponies for your enjoyment.
